Tunisia: INNORPI Launches Digital Platform, Ends Paper Certificate Practice

The National Institute for Standardization and Industrial Property (INNORPI) officially launched its new digitalized industrial property platform on June 24, 2026.

  • The platform is currently active for online search functions and new application filings.
  • Other procedures — including registration, renewals, assignments, oppositions, and annuity payments — will be transitioned fully to the online system in stages.
  • For new electronic filings, physical (hard-copy) registration and renewal certificates will no longer be issued.
  • Hard-copy certificates may still be issued for cases that were already requested and remain pending, but going forward, all new certificates will be issued exclusively in electronic format.

In Tunisia, the new portal should be monitored closely and the electronic certificate process incorporated into file tracking.
